Brøndums Snaps
Anthon Brøndum launched the powerful Brøndum Kummenaquavit in 1840, and it is today one of the oldest Danish aquavits. Anthon Brøndum inherited the interest and passion for the distillation art from his father – the tanned firewood burner CA Brøndum. Anthon Brøndum’s own son Alfred then partnered his father in the company and together they produced “A. Brøndum and Søn Fuselfri Kummenbrænvin”, which was relaunched in 1916 as the Brøndums Snaps we know today.
Brøndums Original is a traditional aquavit with its own specific character. Brøndums Klar is a neutral snaps which is the perfect base for making your own spiced snaps from e.g. herbs and fruits. Based on Brøndums Klar two spiced snaps Brøndums Apple &Timian and Rhubarb & Ginger were launched based on natural ingredients and a lower abv of 30%. The latest arrival to the Brøndums family is Brøndums Fadlagret, based on a cask matured distillate and spiced with rum and sherry.
