Carpano
All the way back in 1786, Italian Antonio Benedetto Carpano began mixing muscatel wine with all sorts of delicious spices and herbs, ending up with a lovely spiced Vermouth wine. How do we know the resulting Vermouth was delicious even then? It was literally good enough for a king! In fact, the king of Turin liked the drink so much he decided to make it part of the royal household!
Carpano’s recipes are just as delicious now as they were back then.
