Hervik have been producing Hervik juice and jam at our small factory since 1939. Today, the company is run by the 3rd generation in the family Romseland, and the location is exactly the same, close to the childhood home of Tor and Sissel, grandchild’s of those who started production.
Juices and jam without preservatives are still the essence of both production and what we stand for, and we will continue to do so. However, we have expanded the concept somewhat within the genre; In recent years we have also produced chilled juices for cafes and canteens, also those of quality fruit and berries, of course, and also these without preservatives. The goal? As natural as possible, as close to home-made as possible.
Taste and quality are paramount at us here at Hervik. We have pride in our products and our work. The methods are traditional and proven. Among other things, the jam is hot-filled and then cooled rapidly while the glasses are turned. We completely avoid using preservatives and the end result is extra tasteful.
Some of today’s employees have been with us for over 30 years. It says a little about the well-being. Still, jam and juice are part of the lunch in the lunch breaks. A voluntary and all-natural choice for the employees who of course each have their own favorites.
