Swizzels
Swizzels are some of the longest running sweet factories in the world. Alfred and Maurice Matlow launched Matlow Bros. Ltd making jelly sweets in a small factory in London, and later joined forces with David Dee who specialized in fizzy sweets, and as such Swizzels Matlow Ltd was founded.
Swizzels Matlow is still a strong family business led by the Dee family.
They have been making sweets since 1928 and still continue inventing to this day, staying innovative and inspiring in the world of sweets.
Swizzels is best known to the market as the inventors of Love Hearts, Snap & Crackle, Double Dip, Drumstick Lollies and Mega Double Lollies which have all been enjoyed for generations around the world.
But Swizzels haven’t stopped there! The talented inventors at the Derbyshire Factory are still creating brand new jellies, chews, lollies and other sweets for you to enjoy and share.
Among the latest inventions is the Squashies range, which has rapidly has become a huge success and a favourite across all markets.
