100 years ago in 1924, two Danish pharmacists decided to begin to make their own sweets to be used in the vending machines they already had at their locations. They were some of the first to introduce edible rather than drinkable chocolate to Denmark, and their hunch that the Danish people might quite like this new form of confectionery certainly paid off – today, Toms is Denmark’s largest chocolate producer, bringing delicious and iconic candy in all shapes and sizes to happy customers across large parts of the world.
