Conaxess Trade Norway and Wessanen in a new partnership

Wessanen is a multinational food company with focus on organic products. Wessanen a family business founded back in 1765 in Amsterdam, Netherlands where they still are located. It started with buying and selling seeds, before many smaller companies were acquired and incorporated into the portfolio of what we know as Wessanen today. The focus on health, naturalness and sustainability are the most important values ​​for the company. Worldwide turnover is approx. 628 Mill Euro.

Wessanen’s purpose is to connect people to nature and by doing so help consumers make better food choices for their own health and the health of our planet. In order to succeed Wessanen has created a new kind of food company that is inspired by nature in everything they do.

New Business is an important element in Conaxess Trade strategy, at the same time as it’s a tool for further growth. Wessanen will give us a stronger foothold within the categories Wessanen operates in. We have a strong position in Confectionary and Non-Food, and a fast-growing division in Food and Lifestyle which will be amplified by this new partnership. Conaxess Trade will take full responsibility for Clipper, Tartex and Whole Earth from the 3^rd of August 2020.
